left me with mixed feelings. Impressed by some scenes, yet disappointed by others. The brilliant and seamless blend of old and new moments stood out, but it didn't quite match the greatness of the first two movies. Definitely gonna rewatch it soon. Rating undecided.

You'll enjoy it if you like typical scary movies about ghosts. Good storyline and acting so I'm happy overall with it.

The jump scares are actuallly scary but predictable (if you’re a horror freak/fan). I just don’t get why they’d hypnotize to forget their memories only to want to remember everything all over again like a loop. While others are saying so many different things, I’d say it’s a nice movie nonetheless, it’s not disappointing but also not groundbreaking, it’s more like giving closure to the previous sequel’s ending. This is to close up any doors of any further sequels. The acting is pretty good...

The last bit of end credits reads "New Jersey motion picture & television commission DIVERSITY & INCLUSION filmed with a diverse cast and crew in NJ" Thie s is why I love Hollywood dying and no one caring they're on strike. This was 107 minutes of jump scares and well worn territory. Yawn. But hey, it was blacker! The family is still white (egads!) so they used black compensation to make every other role a black person (but no worries, the frat douche of course was a white guy). It's...

Cast, atmosphere, a popular story - everything speaks for another horror success for Blumhouse, but unfortunately they gave the latest installment of the "Insidious" series into the wrong hands. The result is a script plagued by weaknesses that not even Patrick Wilson's gallant directorial effort could conceal. Thus, "The Red Door" is a prime example of wasted potential and is unlikely to satisfy fans. However, it is enough for a little scary evening with friends.
