Great directing, pretty good animation. This was doomed to fail because Berserk’s manga has arguably the best art in all of manga, even with today’s technology and animation I don’t think there’s an anime studio that can adapt Berserk’s manga in a perfect way. Its sad but also really says a lot about how good the manga is, its my favorite anime/manga of all time.
