This show just hits different. When you watch the first few episodes you get this vibe of confusion, wholesomeness, and the talent of the people who play Wanda and Vision really give it personality too. The effects also aren’t overdone. They’re very much a part of the story and it’s minimal at best. The effects really do drive a lot of the later scenes as we begin journeying into these crazy plot twists that are being pulled left and right it seems. After watch the show a few times there are things you can see that give you hints and there is quite a bit of foreshadowing, but it’s all so clever you almost don’t notice it whenever the climax hits. It’s still surprising no matter what. This show is very much about Wanda and her state after End Game. It’s about her learning to deal with the past. We learn so much about her as a character in this show it’s pretty crazy. What was someone I’d consider maybe more of a side character in the movies has shown a lot of growth for her more prominent upcoming roles in future plots. The arc with SWORD in my mind is still disappointing. The outcome of that felt semi anti climatic. But the resolve Wanda gets was more than enough for it not to matter still. Overall I’m overly impressed with every single aspect of this movie. I recommend watching at least the avengers movies first if you haven’t, it helps a lot to understand most of the things they refer to in the past.
