This movie was one that I found on Amazon for free with ads and I have covid so here I am telling you about this fantastic movie that I had never seen and glad I got to see it for the first time being where I am in life right now. Anna Ferris plays a pretty spot on stoner who makes awful decisions every 10-30 seconds of this film. If you’ve never been high before the pacing of this film and watching Anna’s character interact with the outside world and herself will certainly give you an idea at the very least. While it has its over the top moments, it never feels like it isn’t purposely or just plain funny. For a while I spent my life believing certain people are inherently NPCs, but this movie pretty much changed my philosophy because it’s like you’re following that super weird stoner who was way too high at the reggae concert you went to the other week go through a whole day. It also has some really quotable moments and parts where I just laughed super hard unconditionally and it was probably ugly (glad no one got to see me laugh like that). And then the guy from the office now horror director gives us a performance of a lifetime with his low key interactions with all the awkward body language you’d need to feel awkward. If you’re looking for a funny movie that doesn’t take it self super seriously this is it. With the low key production and the sort of underwhelming plot it’s not perfect. The jokes and side quests are what the movie is really about.
