What a fucking trip. Like, really. This show is pretty overwhelming in the same way most animes are but it seems to play off it more than just be an anime. It’s clearly meant to be goofy and strange. In that way it’s also iconic with the outdo for every episode that turned into that long lasting meme. The way all the characters are named after legendary rock bands/artists is just too funny even though most of these character are OP as shit! Dio i thought was already a strong antagonist until Wammu, Cars, and AC/DC come in and wreck shop for a bit. And despite the ridiculous demeanor and dialogue, a plot does exist and sometimes the plot twists were just out there and outta no where. But that’s the style of the show. The two iterations of Jojo you’ll see in this first season are really fun characters to follow. And boy are their stories dramatic as shit. Especially when you find out about Lisa Lisa. Honestly one of my top5 animes of all time.
