What a god damn shit show of a movie. Not only did this movie have several controversies because of Ezra Miller, it also achieved being the biggest FUCKING waste of 200 million dollars I’ve ever seen. Where do I even begin? The beginning I guess? The beginning is almost a perfect representation of how the duration of the movie will follow. There’s even a line where Miller has a line saying everything “is a mess” which in my honest option is putting it lightly. Not only do I not have a single fucking clue why any of the beginning happened the way it happened, but Ben Affleck is STILL the worst Batman known to man. A good first 20 or so minutes was spent not know what was going on. Whatever character development they tried to build in the beginning was undermined completely by Ezra Miller’s inability to act. Hes absolutely obnoxious every moment he’s on the screen. Which is way too often when he travels back in time to save his mom starting the flashpoint story, but completely ruins every compelling aspect of what flashpoint cool to begin with. The only purpose having a second Ezra Miller severed was to make one seem less annoying than the other. There are very few moments where the idea is endearing then goes back to being pointless pretty quickly. It takes away the whole arc Barry goes through in the original story in my opinion. Batman is still Bruce Wayne in this new timeline too, further proving my point how they don’t care to make a compelling story and would rather make a cash grab and see Michael Keaton play Bruce Wayne. When no one thought for a single moment how much cooler and more mysterious having Keaton play Thomas Wayne would be. Thomas being the other Batman added to the original story in a unique way that makes flashpoint what it is, making every moment Keaton is on screen a hugely missed opportunity for it to be cool. Cara was fine, but not very impressive. The cgi was laughable on more than one occasion too. So fucking embarrassing how much money was put into this movie and it looks like dog shit through and through. Even in moments where the movie tries to seem self aware about it only further proof how fucking chilly the movie looks. Taking away any and all seriousness the story had going for it. Fuck I hate this movie it’s so stupid. Literally don’t watch it im so mad.
