8.5 - The atmosphere, the music, the cast, the story are outstanding. Not exactly how I imagined when I read it, but nonetheless absolutely brilliant. Made me sob in a sad way. Very deep and unique portrayal of love, family, parent sacrifice, the pressure of genius, the connection to nature, the male vs female processing of loss, and so much more - all through the story of William Shakespeare’s wife and children. P.S. Jessie Buckley should get the Oscar this year.
