31 Days of Halloween 2023 Movie 56

Is this a parody? This breaks the rule of Friday The 13th 6. You can make a horror comedy BUT you can't make the horror funny (the funny here isn't funny but they're trying to be). A generic "We're gonna party all night long" song plays from a boom box while they dance and clean the house in a 80s montage. In the behind the scenes documentary the writer / producer and actor Steven Baio claims they turned down Sheryl Crow to instead use this singer. You get the Shelly practical joker guy from Friday the 13th 3 in a scene with a topless chick asking "see anything you like?". Barney holding his Friday the 13th 5 issue of Fangoria is also doing the Randy bit from Scream trying to warn people of the horror rules "Everytime some has sex in a horror story they get murdered".

Worst killer reveal in history of slashers. Random line: I got a vasectomy when I was 17.

A guy gets stabbed and it comes out his butt. A masked killer wearing a black and white Mexican wrestling mask along with dishwashing gloves isn't exactly terrifying.

Death by microwave, because in the 80s the door apparently didn't need to be closed. (Watching a behind the scenes documentary on this, they claim this was supposed to be funny... yeah mmkay maybe they should put a laugh track on this). Special thanks to Donna Nevada for being credited as "body double for Kim McKamy" and showing her fantastic tits and ass at the end. Very nice.

Edit: Just found out the lead actress Kim McKammy who wouldn't do nudity here, went on to star in over one hundred porn films using the name Ashlyn Gere. Hilarious.

The director of this was the fat guy that got murdered at the beginning of Friday The 13th 5. He also did the stupid laughing gimmick in this movie.

On 11/12/23 I watched "THE JOY OF LAUGHTER: MAKING EVIL LAUGH" the Vinegar Syndrome 77 minute documentary. I love behind the scenes stuff so I'd highly recommend this to anyone who actually watched the movie. I obviously didn't like the end product but I do like the context it provided along with their passion and love of the production.
