Crime noir Batman set in 1940s Gotham - has there been a better setting for anything ever?

Really liked where they took this, never fell in love with any of the episodes or characters - outside of Batman and Harvey Dent and Catwoman (okay maybe I did) - but very excited to see where they take this next arc

that simple 'Alfred' meant so much to me, man
