Was not expecting such a deep cut emotional family story in an alien invasion movie, but I get it now. This film makes you cherish every moment you have with family and even more so makes you believe everything happens for a reason. Every member of that family deserves an Oscar.

That scene at the dinner table will live in my mind for a while now, I wanted to drive over to my parent's house and just hug them.
