Branagh should have done better with this one. It has great elements in it, but my biggest issue is that Thor doesn’t feel truly worthy - just like he finished a time out session. This could have been avoided with a more poignant exploration of the themes. With the massive amount of talent on this film it should have been among the best, but it’s middling.
