Marvel saw success and got ahead of themselves. It gets harder and harder to like this movie with every rewatch, because there’s so little substance there. It tries to examine Tony’s father issues, but those come out more effectively against Thanos eight years later. It was exciting in theaters to see the world being built, but nearly ten years later it can’t pay the bill.
