It doesn’t feel like a Tarantino film, and it seems to subvert any and all expectations of what you would expect this to be going in. Each scene drips with a love of filmmaking, and the fun everyone seemed to have making the film shows. DiCaprio shines, as if a weight has been lifted off his shoulders. Pitt is hilarious. I can’t help but feel that Robbie was only in the film so Tarantino could film her feet.
