Fascinating as an exploration of Bundy as an individual, but doesn’t do much through the guise of filmmaking to make it felt very viscerally. All it really has going for it is it’s accuracy in depicting real-life occurrences. However, in some points where the director feels inclined to heighten the mood, it’s slavishness to that reality hinders it from being as menacing as it seems to want to be. Aside from that, the performances are strong and direct and think Effron as Bundy is an incredible meta-commentary on the individual that the film never seems to fully explore.
