Falls shy of perfection because they went too big to adequately focus on the personal consequences of the conflict. While it comes to a satisfying and emotional head in the third act, it struggles to get complete liftoff on the themes. By no means should it have been scaled back though, and all characters are handled well. The airport fight is still one of my top movie moments, and worth watching this film alone. I’m also left scratching my head Zemo’s plan - but at least he was fairly compelling, if a little flat.
