Munich is based on real events following the 1972 Munich Olympics, where 11 Israeli athletes were taken hostage and murdered by a Palestinian group called Black September.
In response, the Israeli government launches a covert operation to track down and eliminate those responsible. They recruit a small team of Mossad agents, led by a man named Avner Kaufman.
As the team moves across Europe, methodically assassinating targets, the story becomes less about revenge and more about the moral cost of violence. Avner starts questioning everything—his mission, his country, and even himself.
It’s not just a spy thriller—it’s a tense, introspective look at the cycle of retaliation, the price of patriotism, and the haunting ambiguity of justice.
It’s gripping, morally complex, and leaves you unsettled—which is exactly what it aims to do.
