It derved a 6 because of the amazing direction and photograohy. The acting was also compelling and the main characters gave amazing performances. The visuals have to be praised here because it really embodied the grotesque and gothic look with the choice of dark lightning and shadows. I was not expecting a typicall horror movie, because it wasn’t, it was marely based on the creepyness and aethetics. Honestly, in my opionion, where it fell short was in the storyline and the choice of long monologues, it could have definetly been shorter. I do agree with some reviews when they say it was boring, because it was in some parts, and that made me wonder off. The last 5 minutes were probably the most impactful. That scene left me disgusted but then again was so artistically shot that felt like being in a Gorla’s painting.
