Much better that expected considering they do not make horror movies like before anymore. This movie had all the elements of the genre but also the plot was not really bad, entertaining and on the edge. You always know what to expect if you are someone who watches these movies so how things developed were predictable. Acting was decent, script ok and special effects good. Some parts reminded me of the 90’s 00’s films within this genre, with the gory scenes to shock the audience and the close-ups of characters screaming. Shark movies are become increasingly popular but very few are well executed without looking fake and unrealistic, this one was not too bad. The main negative was the ending since it was cut short once the threat was over, could have had a smoother finish ratger than so abrubt. The other critic I have is the plot holes and fast-pace scenes here and there that just made it feel rushed a little bit. Overall, not to bad for the genre and it was entertaining and made me want to watch until the end so that means a lot with horror movies nowadays. Would recommend without having too many high expectations, of course.
