Fantasy, romance, intrigue, deception and drama. What more do you want? I can understand some of the negative reviews but did you watch the movie with certain expectations or did you allow yourself to take the trip and navigate the story without prejudice? I found the story interesting, different and exciting. How books can transport you unto living a alternate reality and want to hope you find the same emotions that reading it made you feel. I get the concept and I thought it was nicely executed. The acting was good, script interesting even if at times overly cheesy, images compelling and direction managed to enhance the emotions of the characters. The main characters had amazing chemistry and the husban made me so mad that I guess worked in its intent. The only flaw hit towards the ending when I just do not quite understand what happened. Some characters are introduced, that seem important, to understand the story but they are never explained. There isn’t a closure or there is but very vague and not understandable. I get that not all love stories deserve a bad or happy ending but this one left me wondering. Might have been the rush of ending it or simply intentionally leaving us guessing. That said, I liked the concept and enjoyed watching it. Recommend.
