I did not know the movie was so recent. My first time watching it was with a girl I was trying to get with. I’m very much the hopeful romantic. The girls I’ve met have definitely seemed to be beautiful daisy’s. It’s a wonderful story of a man bringing heaven to Earth except the final pieces fall outside of himself. I see the beauty and vulnerability in that but as displayed but Gatsby’s behavior at times through the movie it’s also a sign of immaturity. As cool as Gatsby is we see his hidden rage during his outburst against the polo player. I believe this movie had deeper meaning and a realism that will be ground itself more and more each time I watch it. From a character so light and loving.
