Only an hour and a half. Love that. It shows the feeling towards Japanese Americans in war time and how getting to know one another allows for a change of perspective. The same I’m sure was shared with Italian and German Americans at the time. But Go for Broke was a neat war movie following a platoon from training to Victory. It was a rather light movie that displayed growth, understanding, sacrifice, camaraderie, and commonalities. I like that it showed the casualness of men dying and the reality that a young fresh face would be there to replace them. I enjoyed Go for Broke and finally understand the saying. Give it all you got🤙🏾
