“Im just a girl” A lovely girl at work told me it was her favorite, it happened to already be on my wanted list, today is her birthday so i decided to watch it. Now it’s a favorite of both of ours. I’ve been crazy but I think it’s because I’m so sane. And I’m lazy which makes me feel like the world’s a mess and I’m to blame. Well In my labyrinth of borderline bullshit this movie hit all the notes. Nostalgia, aesthetics, rebellion, empathy, care, love, sex, death, mundanity, and the thing that sets one free…the truth. I hope everyone gets to play the parts that they need in their movie and make it home, with love, truthfully. Truthfully, a beautiful movie. - JE
