First half of the season felt like a version of x-men versus the sentinels where this was robots hunting The mutants. It was cool seeing each turtle take on their own robot separately like 1 on 1 in their episode and then come together in the end to go against the whole army. The second half was weirder n funnier when taking on mutant fish creatures trying to find a home and stealing a pearl. Same like before each turtle having their own adventure against the mutants and then together in the final episode/battle. Only difference was they teamed up with mutanimals from the movie and even splinter/April got their own episode against a goldfish mutant. Overall was a decent show, with some Easter eggs from the TMNT stories but was kind of original in the plot with robots and fish mutants instead of the iconic Kraang & Shredder story. Hope to see more of these turtles in another season or even better a second movie where they actually fight against shredder like they hinted in the credit scene or they go against Kraang army which could make sense with the whole mutant world and be an interesting story to make.
