A solid 8.5 out of 10!!
This was a great movie to the MCU as it brought back many iconic characters, great storytelling and learning about depression as we saw from a super powerful character named, Bob a.k.a. Sentry/Void that is basically Superman strength of the MCU as he can overpower our heroes and has a dark past. It was good learning about this new character but was confused on the experiments that he went through like what serums were implemented into test subjects and why was it secret for so many years? Like we spent earlier years trying to recreate the super soldier serum after the great Steve Rogers and many versions were created like winter soldier, John walker, hulk… but we never got close until in falcon and the winter soldier show where they perfected the serum. But for bob and others did they enhance the serum after that events and do more? It was barely explained in the movie. Also this program was led by Valentina DeFonte who really be tricking the team and only wants chaos for the world and have the most powerful things in the world which to make her look good, which she does look very good in the movie😭😉.
Overall this was a great movie that was enjoyable to see in theaters and the long end credit scene was needed and perfect for the MCU because it sets up for the next movie (Fantastic 4) & Doomsday. It’s literally the next 2 projects coming up and they played the scene well almost similar to the end of infinity war where you seen Nick seeing people dusting and then calls for someone in his pager which is a symbol which fans know it’s Captain marvel. So for this movie it’s played the same where we see F4 symbol and fans know it’s the team coming from their reality and we will see their story in 2 months instead of waiting years to see where we lead off. Thunderbolts is a good movie, unique team of misfits and glad they all made it out okay including bob the Superman of the MCU, rip taskmaster which honestly we never cared for but sad. Now as the credit set up for, let’s see how F4 goes and hope it will be FANTASTIC!! ⚡️⚡️
