FANTASTIC ONCE AGAIN!! A decent and much better action movie from the first one where we get more power moments from the fantastic 4 team but we also get the return of dr.doom who was very menacing this time around then previously.
We also get the intro of Silver Surfer and a cloudy version of Galactus who was barely shown in the movie until the final battle and we didn’t get a full version of him. I do enjoy learning who silver surfer is and why he goes planets to planets that lead to destruction which is because to feed Galactus hunger and earth would be next. This movie also gives the vibes of Sam raimi’s Spiderman movies and the original x-men movies which makes sense since they was all released in the early 2000s but this movie combines both Spiderman and X-men eras which is good and nostalgic.
I enjoyed seeing the fantastic team return and they act like a family straight from the comics as all 4 of them were enjoyable to watch. Reed Richard’s for 1 the great leader of not only the team but the whole world as they rely on him to provide the answers due to him being very smart and can create inventions when needed. His elastic abilities improve more this time and funny like his squished moments. He’s now up there as a smart leader I inspire to be with a gorgeous wife by his side which is no other than sue storm aka invisible woman. Jessica Alba is back and continues to be gorgeous especially the weird moments when she burns naked again after the switch powers with Johnny. Was shocking to see she almost dies in the final battle in the hands of doom but glad she was revived by Silver surfer. Would have been insane and a crazy ending if sue remains dead and would explain why we don’t get a third movie but glad she makes it out okay. Speaking of Johnny, he continues to be funny and the little brother of the team and gave an MVP moment when he takes the power of all members to go 1v1 against victor doom in the battle. Chris Evans nails his roles and glad he reprised his role in Deadpool & Wolverine last year. Lastly Ben Grimm the strong brother of the team who has accepted his looks after the events of the first movie and he’s always there to help the team out and have the brotherly rival with Johnny as they all together a good family.
With their fantastic bond of each other they manage to save their world once again and wish they ended up having a third movie but leaves me wondered who would they have to go up against this time after doom is seen to drown in the final battle but who’s to say he could have returned more menacing and full of vengeance to the team. Galactus could have also returned and we could get a full version of him this time looking to fully destroy earth. Honestly after watching I wish Kevin Feige recasted the team to finish off their movie with a trilogy and then have them merge to the MCU similar to Deadpool and Wolverine but have a different storyline, that would have been FANTASTIC to do. Looks like it didn’t happen since a year later we got Feige starting his own marvel cinematic universe and began with the great iron man movie.
Instead of a third movie to end off their story, we getting a new cast from a complete different universe and then merging to the 616 universe as what we saw in the end of 2025 thunderbolts movie. Now let’s see how the next fantastic 4 movie goes which I hear is the worse one but will be the judge of that. Already have a feeling 2025 fantastic 4 will be better than 2015 but worse than 2005 since it’s nostalgic similar to the 3 Spiderman movies. 💙4️⃣🩶
